If you’re a lover of sweet and savory combinations – especially Hawaiian pizza with pineapple – you’re going to LOVE this dip! It’s a great summer party dip that’s easy to make. You don’t even need to turn the oven on!

My husband is not a fan of pineapple on pizza so he wasn’t sure he was going to love this dip but one bite in, he was hooked! There’s just something about the combination of ham, bacon, cheese, green onion and pineapple on a cream cheese base that is just DELISH! You’ll keep going back for more!

How to Make Hawaiian Dip

In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese with sour cream and 1/4 cup of pineapple juice. When you drain your crushed pineapple, reserve 1/4 cup of the juice!

You’ll want to stir this cream cheese mixture really well so it’s fully blended. Spread it in the bottom of a shallow serving bowl or even a pie plate will do the trick!

On top, layer on shredded cheddar cheese (grate your own if you have time), bacon (bacon bits will do in a pinch), green onion, chopped ham, and the crushed pineapple that you previously drained.

Get scooping! Now, you can also refrigerate the dip until you’re ready to serve it which makes this one a hostess’ dream come true. You can prep in advance and pull it out when the party gets started.

I made this as a part of our company-wide “Dip Day” the week before Thanksgiving 2024, and it was a smashing hit!

Even those who said that they don’t normally eat pineapple, loved it!

I had put out copies of your recipe, and many took individual copies, and more snapped photos of the recipe with their phones!

    TOTAL HIT!
