  • Brie
  • Camembert
  • White Cheeses (like Provolone, Swiss, Mozzarella, etc) cut into triangles

Cheese Trees Seasoning Blend

You can absolutely use your own favorite seasonings for your holiday cheese trees, but I like to use a blend of fresh herbs like fresh rosemary and basil, herbs de provence, and crushed red pepper. I also like to add a sprinkling of smoked paprika too.

How to Make Christmas Cheese Trees:

These are SO EASY! Find the full recipe in the printable recipe card at the end of the blog post, but here’s a quick glance at the process!

Place your seasoning blend in a shallow plate. Unwrap your cheese wedges (if using Laughing Cow brand) and press each cheese wedge down into the seasoning blend.

Making Cheese Trees Appetizer

Flip over and insert a pretzel stick (broken down to a short size) into the bottom of the triangular cheese wedge. Ta-da! DONE! Now that is what I call an easy Christmas appetizer.

TIP: If you have trouble with the pretzel “breaking” or splitting the cheese wedge, then first be sure your cheese is at room temperature and second, you may need to use a toothpick or wooden skewer to create a small hole first, then insert your pretzel stick.
