Ingredients: Quick Glance

  • Peaches
  • Mango
  • Red Onion
  • Jalapeno
  • Tomatoes
  • Orange Bell Pepper
  • Red Bell Pepper
  • Lime Juice & Lime Zest
  • Sea Salt
  • Cilantro

At first glance, it might seem like this salsa has a lot of ingredients in it, but they’re all super simple ingredients that can easily be found at most markets and grocery stores. Plus, I have some swaps and substitutions down below if you need some ideas!

Ingredient Swaps for Peach Mango Salsa

Want a Spicy Salsa? Instead of 1 jalapeno, use 2 or even 3 jalapeno peppers instead. You could also leave the seeds in if you like a spicier salsa. You could also use habanero peppers for an extra spicy peach mango salsa.

Sweet & Savory: I often like to add a drizzle of honey (or hot honey!) to this salsa, it enhances the flavors and gives it a little extra something!

Bell Peppers: Feel free to substitute the red and orange bell peppers for any color bell pepper including yellow bell pepper or green.

Chunky Salsa vs. Pureed Salsa: Feel free to pulse this salsa in a food processor or blender for a few seconds to make a pureed salsa with a smoother texture rather than a chunky salsa. Both taste amazing, just personal preference!

Lime Juice: If you don’t have a fresh lime, you can use bottled lime juice in a pinch. I do think the lime zest adds some extra zest, but you could leave it out or swap in lemon zest!

Tomatoes: I used Roma tomatoes but use any fresh tomatoes you have on hand! Cherry tomatoes or grape tomatoes work well too! Just dab them with a paper towel after chopping to dry off some of the juices.

Cilantro: This is a polarizing flavor, but I love the flavor that fresh cilantro adds to any salsa. Feel free to add more or less, or leave it out, to your taste.

Mango: This one is a must since we’re making peach mango salsa, but be sure to use ripe mango so it’s not too hard. You’ll know a mango is ripe because it will give slightly when squeezed. This is similar to peaches too!

How to Make Peach Mango Salsa

I love a simple salsa recipe that come together in minutes with chopped and diced ingredients. It’s just a matter of chopping, slicing and dicing then tossing together with a few seasonings and garnishes.

  1. Chop fresh peaches, fresh mangos, red onion, jalapeno, tomatoes, orange bell pepper, red bell pepper, and cilantro. Toss together.
  2. Top with fresh lime juice, lime zest and sea salt.
  3. Toss to combine.

That’s IT! This mango peach salsa is SUPER easy. The right tools also make this peach mango salsa come together in a jiffy. Here are my suggestions for choppers and dicers. You can certainly slice them with a knife the old fashioned way, but if you want to make your life a lot easier… I suggest this chopper!

How to Store Leftover Salsa

It’s best eaten right away, in my opinion, but you can save this salsa! Store leftover salsa, chilled, in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

Serving Peach Mango Salsa

Serve up this peach mango salsa with your favorite tortilla chips, pita chips (or even wonton chips) for an easy appetizer or serve this salsa as a side dish for quesadillas, tacos, fajitas, burritos, etc.

You could also serve it on top of grilled chicken, grilled fish (I love peach salsa over salmon or fish tacos) or even steak strips for an easy meal idea!

Peach season just got a lot more delicious! I hope you’ll give this fresh peach mango salsa a try the next time you want an easy appetizer or snack with lots of fresh flavor!
