My girls love fun holiday appetizers, especially at Easter! Check out my Easter Bunny Crescent Bites too! They’re both so much fun to serve at your Easter brunch or dinner. Everyone loves a fun themed appetizer!

I used my basic go-to cheese ball recipe for this one, but you can certainly tweak it to include crumbled bacon, different fresh herbs, more cheeses, etc. The idea is the same, just cover it in an orange shredded cheese and stick fresh parsley or other herbs on top! You can also use a flavored cream cheese like garlic/herb, etc.

How to Make an Easter Carrot Cheese Ball

Be sure to check out the full recipe card for this Easter carrot cheese ball at the end of the post.

First things first, you’ll want to mix all the ingredients except for the cheddar cheese and parsley together in a mixing bowl. I prefer to use my Kitchen-Aid mixer for this step. It helps to be sure your cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easy mixing.

Lay out a sheet of plastic wrap or parchment paper on the counter and transfer the cheese ball mixture to the counter. I like to spritz clean hands with nonstick spray and help shape it into a carrot shape. It doesn’t have to be perfect!

Next, cover the carrot cheese ball in shredded cheese and stick in the parsley sprigs on top to look just like carrot stems.

If serving right away, enjoy! If you want to serve later, then cover it carefully with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve!
