Ingredients
16ouncescream cheese(softened)
2tbspsour cream
1cupwhite cheddar cheese(or other white colored cheese, shredded)
1tspWorcestershire sauce
2tbspchives(or green onions, diced)
1/4tspgarlic powder
1/4tsponion powder
1/4cupwhipped cream cheese
Instructions
Using a food processor, standing mixer (with paddle attachment) or in a large mixing bowl, combine together cream cheese, sour cream, white cheddar cheese (shredded), Worcestershire sauce, diced chives, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Spritz clean hands with nonstick baking spray and mold the cheese mixture into a round ball shape.
Lay out a piece of plastic wrap and add the ball on top. Fold up the plastic wrap around the ball and further mold into a round ball.
Refrigerate the ball for at least 2 hours to help firm it up. You can leave it overnight at this stage too.
Using an offset spatula or butter knife, carefully spread the whipped cream cheese in a thin coating evenly over the round cheese ball.
Use the back of a wooden spoon (or other kitchen utensil with a round bottom) and gently press into the cheese ball to form an indention or dimple into the cheese ball. Repeat all over the cheese ball until covered to make it look like a golf ball!
Serve your golf cheeseball alongside crackers, pretzels, crostini, veggie slices, etc. Store any leftover cheese ball in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
